Since the start of its operations in 1930, Japan’s first tire factory, named the Tabi Socks Tire Division, has stood out from its competitors by constantly striving for innovation. In 1931, the division adopted the name we know today: Bridgestone. Since establishing a presence in the United States in 1967, the company has continued to grow and expand its expertise internationally.

Toyo Tire Canada Inc. just announced the launch of its brand-new Toyo Proxes Sport 2, a maximum-performance summer tire designed for sports cars, SUVs, and gasoline, hybrid, or electric crossovers.

Continental unveils its new Viking 8 at Icar

German tire manufacturer Continental took advantage of Quebec's winter conditions to present and allow testing of its brand-new winter tire, the Viking Contact 8. This model will soon replace the renowned Viking Contact 7, although some sizes of the latter will remain available for a limited time.

Nokian launches its new Surpass range!

The tire industry continues to evolve, sometimes even faster than the automobile industry. This time, we turn to the Finnish manufacturer Nokian Tires to welcome its new product, the Surpass AS01, an Ultra High Performance (UHP) All-weather tire, meaning it is "certified" for both winter and summer conditions.
