Firestone, a major division of the Bridgestone Americas giant, just introduced the new Affinity AS tire for passenger vehicles.

Firestone states that its engineers focused on developing a tread compound designed to resist uneven and premature wear, which enables a warranty of approximately 105,000 kilometers. This tire can be recognized by its diagonal and lateral sipes, engineered to provide secure handling on wet pavement. The grooves have been designed to deliver superior road performance while ensuring a quiet ride.

The Firestone Affinity AS sits between the entry-level All Season model and the premium WeatherGrip. It is already available in 28 sizes for 15- to 19-inch wheels on vehicles such as the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Nissan Altima, Hyundai Elantra, and other similarly sized models.
