As we know, several law enforcement agencies around the world have developed their own police versions of the Ford Mustang Mach-E over the years. Ford also launched a pilot program in 2021 for a Mach-E police vehicle (pictured here), which used the GT powertrain.
The automaker has now introduced a version of its 2027 Mustang Mach-E intended for law enforcement agencies, under the SSV (Special Service Vehicle) designation. It will feature a 91 kWh battery, dual-motor all-wheel drive, Brembo front brakes, unique front and rear fascias, and other distinctive styling elements.
The model is based on the Mach-E Select trim while incorporating several features from the GT.
