PPG Announces Its New Clearcoats

The major American paint manufacturer PPG is launching a new line of clearcoats for the premium repair segment under the PPG Super Value banner. It begins with the Super Value SC300, more economical, followed by the Deltron NXT DC7020 Premium Glamour Speed Clearcoat, which requires only five minutes of booth drying at 140 °F (or less than 60 minutes at ambient temperature).
While the Deltron NXT DC7020 Premium Glamour Speed Clearcoat delivers a high-gloss finish and fast drying times (when applied over an Envirobase High Performance waterborne base or a Deltron solvent-borne base), the SC300 urethane-acrylic clearcoats are available in variants that comply with EPA standards, including the strictest limit of 2.1 g/L required in certain states such as California.
