According to respected automotive website MoparInsiders, the 2028 Dodge Charger lineup could include a supercharged 6.2-litre (or 6.4-litre) Hemi Hellcat V8 engine. The site's editors say they uncovered the information in internal Stellantis documents.
According to those documents, the Hellcat engine would be available in both the two-door and four-door versions of the Charger. It would be paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. It's worth noting that this engine has already been announced for the 2027 Ram TRX pickup and other similar models from the automaker.
