Ottawa, Ontario, March 12, 2026 — The Canadian Collision Industry Forum (CCIF) is proud to announce the appointment of its new Steering Committee members for the 2026-2028 term. Comprised of respected industry leaders, this group plays an essential role in guiding the direction of CCIF’s events by identifying the key issues and priority topics that are most important to Canada’s collision repair sector.
Jason Arnott is a seasoned collision industry leader with nearly 30 years of experience spanning technical, insurance, and executive roles. After starting his career as a Journeyman Red Seal technician, he transitioned into insurance and later advanced into senior leadership positions within the collision repair sector. Today, as director of business and operations – western Canada for Consolidated Collision Services (CCS), he oversees strategic and operational initiatives across the region while remaining actively engaged in industry mentorship and skills development.
Bill Davidson is a dedicated collision repair professional and certified technician with decades of experience in collision centre operations, leadership, and paint distribution. He has held a variety of roles throughout his career, building strong expertise in both the technical and business aspects of the industry. Now, as CEO of Raydar Collision Group, he is committed to advancing the collision repair sector and driving meaningful, sustainable change that supports technicians, businesses, and industry partners alike.
David Raposo is an experienced automotive leader with more than 20 years in the industry. He began his career in the OEM sector before transitioning to collision repair in 2009, where he progressed through a series of leadership roles within the Assured Automotive brand. Currently serving as regional vice president of operations for The Boyd Group, he oversees operational performance across eastern Canada. A university business graduate, David is known for building high-performing teams and using strategic insight to drive growth and strong results within Canada’s collision repair industry.
Luc Ruest is a senior operations and vendor management leader with more than 20 years of experience supporting Canada’s automotive insurance and collision repair ecosystem. He has held national leadership roles focused on strengthening partnerships with repair facilities, appraisal organizations, and technology providers while driving improvements in performance, quality, and efficiency. As a member of the CCIF Steering Committee, Luc brings a system-wide perspective and is committed to fostering collaboration and long-term sustainability across Canada’s collision repair industry.
Rick Yates is a seasoned collision repair executive with more than 30 years of industry experience. He has held senior leadership roles with organizations including TD Insurance, CARSTAR Automotive Canada, Driven Brands Canada, and Progi, where he led growth strategies, strengthened insurer partnerships, and launched national initiatives. Recognized for his strategic vision and entrepreneurial approach, Rick continues to drive innovation and advancement across the collision repair industry.
