Yokohama ADVAN Sport ZPS Selected as OE Tire for Toyota GR Yaris

Yokohama Rubber has announced that its ADVAN Sport ZPS tires have been chosen as original equipment for Toyota’s new GR Yaris, recently launched in the Middle East. The selected size, 225/40RF18 88Y, is designed to match the vehicle’s compact yet high-performance character.
Based on the flagship ADVAN Sport tire, the ZPS version features Run-Flat (Zero Pressure System) technology. Reinforced sidewalls allow the vehicle to continue driving even after a complete loss of air pressure, while maintaining a balance of ultra-high-speed handling, wet grip, ride comfort, and low noise levels.
This OE application strengthens Yokohama’s long-standing relationship with Toyota’s GR performance lineup, following previous fitments on models such as the GR Corolla. It also supports Yokohama’s Yokohama Transformation 2026 strategy, which focuses on expanding the presence of high-value-added tires through original equipment partnerships.
