Toyo Tire Canada Inc. just announced the launch of its brand-new Toyo Proxes Sport 2, a maximum-performance summer tire designed for sports cars, SUVs, and gasoline, hybrid, or electric crossovers. Developed to deliver precise handling and optimal grip, it replaces its predecessor, the Proxes Sport.

The Sport 2 will be recognizable by its redesigned tread pattern, engineered to enhance cornering grip. Technically, it incorporates new dual silica-infused rubber compounds on both the inner and outer sections of the tire, ensuring superior traction. The stiffer outer compound resists deformation, improving cornering stability. Its asymmetric tread pattern maintains constant contact with the road, contributing to enhanced performance.

The Proxes Sport 2 also offers a smooth and quiet ride while reducing rolling resistance, promoting better fuel efficiency. It will be available in more than 80 sizes, fitting wheels from 17 to 22 inches in diameter, with a Y speed rating.
