Toyota hasn’t finished surprising us. This time, the automaker is announcing the return of the C-HR, a small vehicle that was offered until 2022 before being discontinued due to insufficient sales.

Unlike the previous version, which was equipped with a four-cylinder engine and offered exclusively with front-wheel drive, the new C-HR is powered by two electric motors delivering a combined 338 horsepower and driving all four wheels.

It features a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery as well as an 11 kW onboard charger.

This new C-HR joins Toyota’s lineup of 21 electrified vehicles in North America and becomes the automaker’s third fully electric model available in our market.
