Manufacturer BendPak has unveiled its all-new APEX AT26 tire changer.
Featuring a swing-arm design, the machine is capable of changing low-profile, stiffer-sidewall and large-diameter tires without requiring significant effort from the operator.
It uses a high-torque electric turntable that can operate in both directions, while its rigid spring-assisted arm allows for precise tool positioning.
Despite its reinforced steel construction, polymer heads help protect the finish of the wheels.
The APEX AT26 tire changer can accommodate wheels up to 50 inches in diameter and 15 inches wide. Its outside clamping range covers wheels from 10 to 22 inches, while its inside clamping range extends from 12 to 24 inches.
