Ram confirms the return of the iconic 5.7-litre HEMI® V8 on the 2026 Ram 1500 for Canada. Available to order now, the engine is paired with eTorque mild-hybrid technology, delivering 395 horsepower, 410 lb-ft of torque, and a maximum towing capacity of 10,170 lb (4,613 kg).
The HEMI V8 is offered on nine Crew Cab 4x4 trims with a 5’7” bed and comes standard with a performance-tuned exhaust system. All HEMI-equipped models are backed by Canada’s best full-size truck limited powertrain warranty.
According to Trevor Longley, President of Stellantis Canada, “The HEMI’s return is a clear message from Ram brand that we are listening.” With this move, Ram expands the 2026 Ram 1500 lineup to four available powertrains, balancing customer demand with proven mechanical performance and long-term serviceability valued by the aftermarket.
