As promised, General Motors is bringing back the Chevrolet Bolt, the subcompact electric car that is expected to go on sale in early 2026 as a 2027 model. In Canada, only the limited LT version will be available, with a starting price of $43,470, including destination. A more upscale RS version will follow later on.

The second-generation Bolt is expected to offer a range of about 410 kilometres, an improvement over the previous model’s 397 kilometres, thanks to new battery technology that allows charging twice as fast as before.
