Now it's the 2027 GMC Sierra's turn to be unveiled

It was to be expected. Following the surprise unveiling of an all-new version of its popular full-size Silverado pickup, American giant General Motors wasted little time in introducing the GMC version of that same truck, the Sierra.

This highly profitable vehicle for the automaker will return later this year with more sculpted exterior styling — distinct from that of the Silverado —, an even more luxurious interior depending on the trim level, as well as new V8 engines that are expected to be the same as those in the Chevrolet lineup, namely 5.7- and 6.6-litre units, although their output has not yet been confirmed.

It should also be noted that the TurboMax four-cylinder and Duramax turbodiesel six-cylinder engines will remain in the catalogue, with a few improvements. The only transmission available will be a 10-speed automatic.

The 2027 Sierra will be offered in six different trims, ranging from the base Pro model to the off-road AT4X version, as well as the highly luxurious Denali Ultimate. Naturally, pricing will only be announced when the truck goes on sale.
