Hyundai Auto Canada, the South Korean automaker that has been established in Canada for more than 40 years, updated its leadership team on June 11 with two appointments. The company named Fabio Cappella Director of Product and Corporate Strategy. He succeeds Michael Ricciuto, who is retiring after more than 15 years with Hyundai's Canadian division.
Fabio Cappella brings more than 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, including 14 years with Hyundai. In his new role, he will report to the company's President and CEO, Steve Flamand, and will oversee product planning as well as Hyundai Canada's long-term business strategy.
The company also appointed Laura Nava as Director of Marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in the automotive industry, she will lead the company's growth initiatives and strategic partnerships while managing all internal and external marketing programs. Notably, she previously spent 18 years at General Motors Canada in various senior marketing roles.
