The traditional Spring Classic took place at the stunning Circuit Mont-Tremblant, surrounded by mountains and winding through the region’s picturesque valleys. The three-day event, from Friday to Sunday, brought together multiple categories of race cars and attracted drivers, enthusiasts, and spectators alike.

Despite a cloudy Friday with occasional showers, the cars quickly took to the track, seizing every opportunity to race on this course, which is as technical as it is spectacular.

Attending such an event is a bit like opening a box of chocolates. To borrow the famous quote from Forrest Gump, you never know what you're going to get. This time, it was a Porsche 356 that stood out, driven by Gregory Campbell from British Columbia. Although he had never raced on this track before, he was thrilled by the challenge posed by each lap.

The Mont-Tremblant Classics are also the perfect occasion to stroll through the paddocks, chat with drivers and mechanics, and sometimes spot familiar faces. Among them was Richard Spenard, a true legend of the Canadian motorsport, offering coaching. The former Jim Russell School instructor, whose impressive career began right here 52 years ago, was in great shape.

Another regular at the track: Patrice Brisebois, former Montreal Canadiens defenceman, who continues to shine behind the wheel of his Ferrari 458 GT3, often reaching the podium.

Next up: the Summer Classic, from July 25 to 27. Let’s hope the weather cooperates!
