The GR86 Yuzu Edition exemplifies tuner culture through distinctive styling, while incorporating TOYOTA GAZOO RACING’s racing heritage.
The yearly pre-salon tradition continues in Montreal with Toyota and Lexus inviting members of the media to an evening where they presented some new products for the Canadian market. Among those new products, Toyota entices the world of sports coupes with the GR86 Yuzu Edition, a limited edition that clearly does not go unnoticed.
Dressed in bright yellow with black accents and matching wheels, this special edition pays homage to the legendary Scion FR-S Release Series 1.0, while asserting the modern and sharp character of the current GR86. Under the hood, there is the 2.4L naturally aspirated boxer engine, developing 228 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque, paired with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
With a Torsen limited-slip differential, lightweight aluminium-reinforced chassis, and tuned aerodynamics, the GR86 delivers balanced, sporty performance on both road and track. Developed by TOYOTA GAZOO RACING, it features double wishbone rear suspension, precise steering, digital Track mode instrumentation, motorsport-style controls, wrap-around seats, an 8-inch multimedia display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and comprehensive active safety technologies.
The Yuzu Edition shows Toyota’s commitment to bold, authentic automotive design, starting at $47,876.
