Nexen Tire Canada, the Canadian subsidiary of South Korean giant Nexen, whose headquarters are located in Alberta, recently opened a new tire warehouse in Guelph, Ontario. The move is intended to better serve Eastern Canada and, above all, improve dealer access to its popular winter tires well before the snow begins to fall.
Nexen is also targeting the performance tire market. The company believes this will allow it to offer greater flexibility to its partners and better support certain region-specific demands. This is especially relevant given the importance of the Quebec market in the winter tire segment. Naturally, Nexen also expects to respond more quickly to opportunities in the Canadian market.
