Continental launches the TerrainContact A/T2

German tire manufacturer Continental Tire has announced the production of the TerrainContact A/T2, an all-season tire designed for CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks.

The tire is aimed at drivers who spend most of their time on paved roads but still want the capability to travel on unpaved roads or handle changing weather conditions.

The new tire features Continental's TractionPlus technology, which provides improved braking grip on wet pavement as well as better traction in snow compared with its predecessor.

Finally, the TerrainContact A/T2 carries the Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol, indicating that it is approved for severe winter conditions.
