Kumho launches RT version of its Road Venture tire

South Korean manufacturer Kumho has introduced the new RT version of its popular Road Venture tire, specifically designed for off-road adventures. While it is primarily intended for the American Southwest—where off-road enthusiasts are particularly numerous due to the local landscape—it is also expected to appeal to Canadian drivers seeking improved traction on muddy, sandy, or rocky terrain, while still offering a comfortable ride on paved roads. Notable features include prominent sidewall lugs and wavy grooves that facilitate stone ejection.
The Road Venture RT will initially be offered in 27 sizes for wheels ranging from 17 to 22 inches, with the manufacturer already planning to add more options in the future. The tire also comes with a treadwear warranty of 80,000 km.
