Goodyear to expand its Lawton plant to launch new products

After announcing the upcoming launch of five new product lines on global markets, American tire giant Goodyear has also announced the expansion and modernization of its largest plant, located in Lawton, Oklahoma. The goal is to add production capacity for more than 10 million premium tires, not in response to tariffs imposed by the President of the United States on Canadian and Mexican products, but rather to allow Goodyear to be more competitive in the larger wheel diameter tire segment — a more profitable market due to higher volumes.
It is worth noting that the new products will be integrated into the WeatherReady, Wrangler, and ultra-high-performance Eagle lines.
