The unveiling season for new winter tires ahead of the upcoming season is now well underway, with several manufacturers already announcing their latest offerings. Among them is Japanese giant Bridgestone, which has just introduced its brand-new Blizzak IcePeak.

In addition to incorporating the manufacturer’s Enliten technology, this winter tire features both the well-known pictogram of a mountain with a snowflake at its center, as well as the new vertical bar pictogram indicating that the tire meets the latest requirements for ice grip performance.

The Blizzak IcePeak is expected to be available as of May. It will replace the Blizzak WS90 and Blizzak DM-V2 models and will be offered in 97% of the sizes covering conventional, electric, and hybrid vehicles in the North American market.
