BRIDGESTONE

Since the start of its operations in 1930, Japan’s first tire factory, named the Tabi Socks Tire Division, has stood out from its competitors by constantly striving for innovation. In 1931, the division adopted the name we know today: Bridgestone. Since establishing a presence in the United States in 1967, the company has continued to grow and expand its expertise internationally.
Its Mission: Superior Quality to Serve Society
Today, more than 27 countries contribute to Bridgestone’s global success. From its involvement in the F1 to its environmental initiatives, this industry giant is driven by diverse interests. Moreover, its founding mission remains the guiding principle behind all its actions: “Serve society with superior quality.”
In December, Bridgestone won the international Prince Michael Road Safety Award for a program aimed at making roads safer for vulnerable users. This achievement is one of many reflecting the company’s core values. In 2022, Bridgestone launched a new initiative called E8: Energy, Ecology, Efficiency, Extension, Economy, Emotion, Ease, and Empowerment. These keywords outline the company's vision for healthy and sustainable development by 2030.
Zero Landfill Waste for the Future
Currently, six of Bridgestone’s tire factories are certified “Zero Waste to Landfill.” The company aims to produce tires made from 40% recycled materials by 2030 and achieve full recyclability by 2050. It also targets a 50% reduction in CO₂ emissions by 2030 and total carbon neutrality by 2050.
Durability, Handling, Grip, and Above All, Silence
These sustainability efforts are made possible in part by the development of virtual tires. In Italy, Bridgestone uses this system to eliminate up to 200 physical prototypes, improving durability, efficiency, and reducing raw material use. CO₂ emissions have decreased by 60% during the development phase thanks to this innovation. Since the release of its first high-performance Potenza radial tire in 1979, the company has continued making breakthroughs. In 2024, a redesigned version of the Potenza became the official tire of the Lamborghini Temerario.
From the Blizzak to the Turanza, Bridgestone delivers products that meet its customers’ expectations and values: durability, handling, grip, and above all, silence.
TURANZA PRESTIGE
Last February, Bridgestone introduced the Turanza Prestige, a high-end tire for sedans and crossovers. This touring tire offers a quiet ride, exceptional handling, and enhanced responsiveness. Its deep tread design improves water evacuation, optimizing braking on wet roads. As part of the E8 commitment, it reflects the values of Ecology, Extension, and Ease. With a 44% longer lifespan than its predecessor, the Turanza QuietTrack, and a 112 000 km limited warranty, the Prestige is built to impress. Engineered to reduce vibrations and promote safety, it is one of the best eco-designed,
all-season options for 2025.
ECOPIA H/L 422 PLUS
In line with Bridgestone’s environmental goals, the Ecopia tire line is central to its eco-friendly mission. Made from recycled rubber, this all-season tire helps drivers cut fuel costs up to $450 over the tire’s lifetime, according to the company. Designed for SUVs and minivans, it balances comfort, handling, and economy, and is backed by a 110,000 km limited warranty. Reduced rolling resistance makes it an efficient choice for less fuel-efficient vehicles.
POTENZA SPORT
The Potenza Sport delivers responsive handling and strong grip. Designed for speed enthusiasts, this ultra-high-performance tire features a Y speed rating (up to 300 km/h) and maintains stability and precision in all weather. It suits both sedans and sports cars. Under the E8 commitment, it represents Emotion, Ecology, and Extension. Developed using virtual tire technology, the Potenza Sport combines thrilling performance with environmental responsibility.
