Ice Testing Programs Are on the Rise

While several tire manufacturers — including Nexen — are announcing the establishment of winter testing centers in Ivalo, Finland (where Nokian is already well established), others are organizing product launch programs in Quebec, notably Michelin at Mécaglisse, as well as ice-driving schools for owners of high-end vehicles.

Italian automaker Lamborghini is among them. The company recently organized such an experience in the Château Montebello region, where participants were able to take driving courses behind the wheel of most models in the brand’s lineup, including the Temerario, Revuelto, and Urus SE.

A specially designed track was created for the ice-driving exercises.
