Lucas Oil, a company well-known for its oil additives and other performance lubricants, recently announced at the AAPEX show in Las Vegas that it is launching two products specifically designed for hybrid vehicles: Hybrid Oil Treatment and Hybrid Fuel Treatment, both using its new HybridShield technology.

Lucas explains these new products through an analysis of emerging needs driven by the steady 7% annual growth of hybrid-powered vehicles projected through 2034. The company notes that manufacturers such as Ford plan to quadruple their sales of such vehicles by then, while Honda is preparing to introduce even more hybrid models to the market. Moreover, Lucas Oil predicts that hybrid-vehicle owners will keep their vehicles for longer periods.
