Alina Purice : First Woman on CPA Montréal’s Board for an Inclusive and Innovative Vision

A new chapter begins for the board of directors at the Comité Paritaire de l’Industrie des Services Automobiles de la région de Montréal (CPA Montréal) with the appointment of Ms. Alina Purice, the first woman to join its ranks. A graduate in industrial relations from the University of Montreal, Ms. Purice brings a fresh and innovative perspective to this traditionally male-dominated industry through her expertise in human resources and labor relations.

As a labor relations advisor for the Association des employeurs de l’industrie de l’automobile inc., Ms. Purice focuses on working conditions in the automotive sector and the union negotiation process. Her interest in the application of the industry decree in Montreal naturally led her to CPA Montréal.

"I’m proud to be the first woman on the Board, but more importantly, I’m determined to share new ideas and a vision that can bring significant positive change."

she says with enthusiasm. Her vision for CPA Montréal’s future is clear: strengthen its field presence, increase its industry involvement, and simplify the understanding of regulations.

Ms. Purice values diversity, a reality she has observed firsthand within the automotive sector. “I’ve seen several dealerships hire women in their garages, and they are dynamic, capable, and do excellent work. I believe everyone has a place in every field, and this one is no exception!”

She is eager to share her vision and participate in board discussions, where she has already noticed a proactive attitude and strong commitment to advancing CPA Montréal’s engagement in the sector. Ms. Purice aims to contribute to efforts that will, as she puts it, “promote CPA Montréal, better regulate the industry, and increase our visibility on the ground.”

CPA Montréal proudly welcomes Ms. Alina Purice to its board of directors. Her appointment represents a significant step forward toward greater diversity in the automotive industry. The sector is evolving, as evidenced by the growing number of women entering it. Together, we can build a more inclusive and promising future for the automotive world.
