Tesla introduces more affordable models

tesla-introduces-more-affordable-models

It’s official! The renowned American electric vehicle manufacturer Tesla has launched more affordable versions of its Model Y SUV and Model 3 sedan, featuring smaller battery packs and fewer luxury options — all at lower prices than previous versions, at least in the United States. This change could mean savings of about US$5,000, bringing the price to under US$40,000 for both the Model Y and the Model 3.

These are entry-level, rear-wheel-drive vehicles only. The move follows the cancellation of the US$7,500 federal tax credit that was previously available to electric vehicle buyers south of the border.
