Porsche has unveiled details of the battery powering its upcoming all-electric Cayenne, expected in 2026 (InsideEVs).
The SUV will feature a 108 kWh usable battery, designed to be more compact and serviceable at the module level, extending its lifespan and lowering maintenance costs. This new design is built on the PPE platform co-developed with Audi (L’Argus).
With an 800-volt architecture, the Cayenne EV will support charging speeds of up to 400 kW, enabling drivers to recover around 300 km WLTP in just 10 minutes. Such performance places the Cayenne EV among the top contenders in the premium electric SUV market (Caroom).
By combining performance, range, and efficiency, Porsche aims to strengthen its position against rivals like Tesla and Mercedes in the luxury EV space.
