The APMA (Automotive Parts Manufacturers’ Association) took advantage of the Toronto Auto Show this week to unveil Phase 2.0 of its Canadian electric vehicle project, the Arrow Vector, while also presenting a second prototype, the Arrow Borealis.
The project was first introduced with an initial prototype revealed in 2023. The latest vehicles highlight the capabilities of Canada’s automotive parts industry, particularly in terms of the technologies expected to dominate the 2030 to 2040 decade and beyond.
The prototype showcased in Toronto features a construction that makes use of aluminum and lightweight polymers. It delivers 650 horsepower and offers an estimated driving range of 550 kilometers.
