The Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières will celebrate its 55th edition in 2025, offering several races throughout the weekend of August 8, 9, and 10. This event has become essential for many racing series, with its highlight being the NASCAR Canada race featuring numerous local drivers.

This year, the GP3R will have a special flavor with the first participation of Bruno Spengler, champion of the highly competitive DTM series in 2012. He will compete in the three races of the Nissan Sentra Cup over the weekend. Not only will this be his first time at GP3R, but also his very first race in a front-wheel-drive vehicle. Another big name thus joins the extensive list of champions who have participated in what is often called the "Monaco of America."

Additionally, Louis-Nicolas Thiffault and Jacques Deshaies are currently working on a documentary highlighting the involvement of the Trois-Rivières community with the Grand Prix over the decades.

Ahead of the event, a testing day was held at Circuit ICAR, featuring several vehicles from the NASCAR Canada, Modified Legends, and Radical Cup series, with Alexandre Tagliani among the drivers. Single-seaters from the F1600 series were also present.

Finally, vehicles from the Courses Vintage Québec (CVQ) series will participate in festivities throughout the weekend, along with the Mayor's Cup and the Défi Urbain Modifié, offering spectators a high-quality show.
