Major American tire manufacturer Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. has unveiled a new off-road tire, the Wrangler Outbound A/T, as part of the company’s new strategy to introduce products more quickly and more frequently.

This tire is designed for vehicles such as the GMC Yukon, Ford F-150, Jeep Grand Cherokee, and Toyota 4Runner, among others. Technically, it stands out with a Kevlar layer beneath the tread and a special Durawall rubber compound that protects the sidewalls from abrasion, cuts, and punctures.

Goodyear expects its new Wrangler Outbound A/T to compete with the Michelin LTX A/T2 and LTX Trail, Bridgestone Dueler A/T Ascent, and Continental TerrainContact A/T. The Goodyear Wrangler Outbound A/T will be available in 26 sizes for wheels ranging from 16 to 22 inches, with profiles from 50 to 80 and widths from 235 to 285.
