The booming off-road vehicle trend continues, and among the new entries in this segment, Subaru will soon introduce the Trailseeker, the Japanese automaker’s new fully electric SUV.

Considered by Subaru to be a midsize vehicle, the Trailseeker will have dimensions similar to those of the Solterra. However, it will feature a revised version of Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. Its two motors will produce 375 horsepower, enabling 0–96 km/h acceleration in approximately 4.4 seconds, according to Subaru. This would make the Trailseeker the fastest Subaru ever, surpassing even the WRX and STi models.

Its 74.7 kWh battery pack should provide a range of about 450 km. The charging port will follow the NACS standard. The Subaru Trailseeker is expected to arrive on the market next spring.
