Ford finally reveals the power output of its Mustang Dark Horse SC

The Ford Mustang has now become one of the most sought-after cars, both in North America and in Europe, especially from a performance standpoint. Recently, we have seen strong enthusiasm for the exotic GTD version, which outpaced all production vehicles at Germany's Nürburgring by setting the fastest lap time.

However, for most buyers, the most exciting regular-production Mustang remains the Dark Horse version. More recently, Ford created an even more powerful variant, the SC. The automaker has just revealed the official output of its supercharged 5.2-litre V8: 795 horsepower and 660 lb-ft of torque.

The GTD, for its part, produces 815 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque, but at an exorbitant price that exceeds half a million dollars in Canada. As for the Dark Horse, its price climbs past $125,000 in Canada, depending on the options. And we can even expect a convertible version.

Both the Dark Horse SC and the GTD use a seven-speed Tremec dual-clutch automatic transmission.
