Finally, a three-row Nissan Rogue PHEV

This coming January, we should finally see the arrival of a plug-in PHEV version of the hybrid Rogue. However, take a closer look: it quickly becomes apparent that this Rogue is actually based on a… Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV! Indeed, Mitsubishi remains a partner of Nissan (and Renault), and we are now seeing a concrete result of that collaboration—a three-row Rogue.

As a result, it will come as no surprise that the 2026 Rogue Plug-In Hybrid will be powered by a Mitsubishi drivetrain consisting of a 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine paired with two electric motors and a 20 kWh battery pack. Total output is expected to reach 248 horsepower and 332 lb-ft of torque, while all-electric range should be roughly 60 km.
