The decline of traditional passenger cars continues. This time, according to industry publication Automotive News, Japanese automaker Honda is reportedly preparing to end production of one of its most refined sedans: the second-generation Acura TLX.

With this move, only the Integra would remain in Acura’s passenger car lineup, with the rest now consisting exclusively of SUVs in various sizes. Among the reasons cited — beyond the sharp drop in sales — Honda may introduce a new version of the Accord next year, though it should not be considered a direct replacement for the TLX.
