Auto-Sport QuEbec Show: A Tribute to Bodyworkers and Painters

Auto-Sport QuEbec Show: A Tribute to Bodyworkers and Painters

For more than forty years, the City of Québec has been hosting an exhibition of modified or restored vehicles, or, as it’s called in the United States, a Rod Show. Once a one-of-a-kind event, it competed with a similar show in Montréal, one that does no longer exists: Québec’s in the spring, Montréal’s in the fall.

The Auto-Sport Québec Show masterfully led by Jacques Picard from its inception in 1970, the Québec show has been under the stewardship of Martin D’Anjou and his partner Karine Albert since 2017. With their energy, they’ve attracted participants from across Quebec, especially bodywork professionals from the region.

Once again, this year, the boldest bodyworkers and painters took over the Québec City Exhibition Centre with their creations. They were joined by meticulous restorers, local builders, race-car preparers, and more. The few photos below can’t fully capture the incredible work on display last May, a true art on wheels.
