South Korean tire manufacturer Hankook Tire & Technology has unveiled the A/T2 version of its Laufenn X-Fit all-terrain tire, designed for pickup trucks and SUVs. It’s worth noting that “Laufenn” is a German word meaning “to run fast” or “to sprint.”

The tire is already available for wheel sizes ranging from 15 to 22 inches, suitable for both on-road and off-road use.

According to the manufacturer, this tire was designed to deliver strong durability on rough terrain while providing excellent grip and stability under a variety of conditions.

The second-generation Laufenn X-Fit stands out with its reinforced construction, including three-ply sidewalls that resist cuts. The tread pattern has also been optimized to improve water evacuation as well as traction on unstable, muddy, or wet surfaces.

Additionally, the tire features the three-peak mountain snowflake symbol, indicating that it’s certified for winter use.
