Montreal, October 1, 2025 – Groupe Touchette is proud to announce the opening of two new warehouses in Québec City and Saguenay, with a combined surface area of 166,000 sq. ft. These new facilities replace the former ones, providing the company with the infrastructure needed to continue its growth in the regions. The Québec City warehouse is located at 1500 rue des Tanneurs, and the Saguenay warehouse at 2718 boulevard Talbot. These openings reinforce Groupe Touchette’s leadership position in the Canadian tire distribution industry, particularly in these two strategic markets for operational efficiency.

Diversifying regional competition

With its vision of establishing an essential presence in Québec’s regions, Groupe Touchette aims to diversify the competitive landscape in the tire distribution industry, always to the benefit of local customers.

“After 16 years at Groupe Touchette, I still see every day how much customer experience and satisfaction remain at the heart of all our decisions. That is precisely what makes the opening of these new warehouses so important. By increasing our storage capacity in Québec City and Saguenay, we are strengthening our local presence and offering more choice to our regional customers. Even though we are a national leader, we want to show that we remain close to the communities we serve,” said Roger Champoux, Vice-President of Sales at Groupe Touchette.

An industry in transformation

With sustained growth in demand across multiple market segments, the tire distribution industry has also had to adapt, particularly in managing new products for customers.

“For many people, a tire is just a tire, regardless of the vehicle. In reality, it’s quite the opposite. Beyond seasonal tires, which consumers are used to, there are also specific requirements for electric vehicles, commercial fleets, agriculture, and other specialized markets. To meet this growing variety, it is essential to have adapted infrastructures and increased storage capacity. The new warehouses in Québec City and Saguenay will enable us to better support these markets and continue to offer our customers a complete solution, whatever the vehicle or application,” added Egil Moller Nielsen, Chief Operating Officer at Groupe Touchette.

About the Québec City and Saguenay warehouses

This hub will serve communities across the greater Québec City region. In Saguenay, the new warehouse is located in a building to which Groupe Touchette relocated from its former regional facility. The storage space increased from 24,000 sq. ft. to 66,000 sq. ft.
