The international automaker Stellantis has just unveiled the American version of its European van — known as the Citroën Jumpy, Peugeot Expert, and Opel Vivaro — which will be marketed in North America under the name Ram ProMaster City.

This new van will replace the previous ProMaster City, which was formerly based on the Fiat Doblo, a model that has since been discontinued.

The new City is a mid-size vehicle — whereas the previous generation belonged more to the compact category — and it will be primarily aimed at tradespeople. However, it should also be noted that the vehicle will be offered in a passenger version as well.

For now, the only engine available will be a turbocharged four-cylinder producing 166 horsepower, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

In its passenger configuration, the van will be able to carry up to eight occupants.
