Hyundai unveils its next-generation Tucson

Major South Korean automaker Hyundai hasn't wasted any time unveiling its all-new 2027 Tucson. Although final specifications for the Canadian version have yet to be confirmed, the vehicle has already been presented to the automotive press, showcasing a bolder design, a more spacious interior, updated software and a more powerful hybrid powertrain.

Under the hood, the new Tucson will offer a hybrid powertrain producing 233 horsepower. Hyundai claims acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 8.5 seconds and a towing capacity of up to 3,000 pounds for the all-wheel-drive version. All-wheel drive is expected to be standard in Canada. A gasoline-only engine producing 184 horsepower will also be available.
