Toyota Motor Manufacturing Canada (TMMC) has officially launched Canadian production of the all-new sixth-generation RAV4 at its Woodstock, Ontario plant. This milestone highlights Toyota’s continued confidence in its Canadian workforce and manufacturing expertise. “Being selected to build the all-new sixth-generation RAV4 reflects the trust that Toyota Motor Corporation places in our team members and their world-class expertise,” said Tim Hollander, President of TMMC.

Since 2009, more than four million RAV4 vehicles have been assembled in Canada. To support the launch of this new generation, Toyota invested over $1.1 billion, bringing its total investment in Canada to more than $12 billion. The 2026 RAV4 will be offered exclusively with hybrid powertrains, available in seven grades and three distinct design styles, and featuring advanced technologies.

This local production further strengthens Toyota’s industrial footprint in Canada while preparing the national dealer and service network for the arrival of this next-generation vehicle.
