Initially promised for last fall, Jeep's brand-new mid-size SUV, the Wagoneer S, has finally been launched in Canada. Despite its name, the Wagoneer S is not directly related to other Wagoneer models in Jeep's lineup. It is a completely new two-row vehicle, equipped with a 100.5 kWh battery powering two electric drive modules—one at the front and one at the rear—each delivering 250 kW of power.

This setup provides an impressive equivalent power of 600 horsepower and 617 lb-ft of torque. Stellantis, the manufacturer of the Wagoneer S, claims remarkable performance, with a 0 to 96 km/h acceleration in just 3.4 seconds.

As for range, this electric Jeep is expected to travel up to 485 kilometers on a single charge. The price is expected to start at around $89,000.
