Japanese automaker Nissan took advantage of Monterey Car Week to showcase its QX65 Monograph design study. Although the vehicle is already production-ready, Nissan has kept several details secret, particularly regarding its powertrain.
It can easily be seen as a “coupé” version of the three-row QX60. However, many observers consider it a rival to the already popular Cadillac Lyriq, largely due to its sloping roofline. The last time Nissan used the “Monograph” name was for the QX Monograph, which eventually became today’s QX80—suggesting that the QX65 may well become a production model in the future.
