Mazda Canada has unveiled the updated 2026 CX-70, a midsize two-row SUV that combines electrified performance with refined styling and enhanced practicality. The 2026 lineup expands with three new PHEV trims—GS-SC, GS-L SC and GT—while all models receive new black badges and styling accents. Pricing starts at $49,750.
Powertrain options include two e-Skyactiv 3.3L turbo MHEV engines and a 323-hp PHEV, all paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard i-Activ AWD. A redesigned interior now features a 12.3-inch touchscreen, wireless smartphone connectivity, improved storage solutions and a full suite of i-Activsense safety technologies.
Higher trims such as GT, GT-P and Signature offer premium amenities including Nappa leather, Bose audio, a head-up display, ventilated seats, expanded driver-assistance features and upgraded exterior elements. The PHEV SC variants benefit from an extended electric range of 51 km.
