Jeep, part of the Stellantis group, released the first images of the next-generation replacement for its Cherokee model. The Cherokee has been absent from the market for the past two years. The new version of this SUV is described as a conventional hybrid utility vehicle.

However, Stellantis has not officially confirmed whether the Cherokee name will return. Still, brand executives have stated that this Jeep will be positioned in the highly popular segment between the Jeep Compass and the Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Although pricing and specifications were not disclosed, Jeep representatives did confirm that the vehicle will be built in Mexico.
