For 2026, Ford is highlighting the influence its Fox Body Mustang generation had on the brand’s history. As a tribute, the American automaker is offering a 2026 Mustang FX version to fans of the marque, available with a choice of two wheel types and bodywork details specific to this edition. Additional interior touches in the FX version also echo design elements from past Fox Body Mustangs, including Recaro seats available exclusively on the coupe.

Aside from the availability of the 5.0-litre V8 from the GT version, nothing was changed technically for the 2026 Mustang GT FX, but all signs point to more Mustang versions on the horizon for 2026.
