The new Pacifica enters production

On May 28, Chrysler, a Stellantis brand, marked the start of production of the revised 2027 Pacifica minivan at its Windsor Assembly Plant in Ontario.

The event took place at the plant itself, with Stellantis employees and Unifor representatives in attendance. It also served to highlight a price reduction of up to C$7,200. As a result, the Chrysler Pacifica Select AWD will become the most affordable seven-passenger all-wheel-drive minivan in Canada, while the more budget-friendly Grand Caravan version, offered exclusively in Canada, will remain priced below C$50,000.

To support this, the Windsor plant added 1,700 jobs, allowing it to bring back a third shift.

The updated model can be identified by its redesigned front end and new wheels.

It is worth noting that since 2022, Stellantis has invested approximately C$1.9 billion in the assembly of new vehicles, including those based on the new STLA Large architecture.
