One of the most iconic landmarks in motorsport is undoubtedly the Dunlop Bridge, which has stood since 1932 above the first corner of the famous Circuit de la Sarthe, home to the annual 24 Hours of Le Mans.
A few days ago, the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), organizer of the world-renowned endurance event, and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company announced that this historic structure will be replaced by a new bridge bearing the Goodyear name. This change is being described as a strategic enhancement aimed at improving the overall 24 Hours of Le Mans experience. Other facilities at the circuit will also feature the American brand’s name.
