Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, formerly known as Mosport, has changed ownership. On December 11, Motorsports Ventures Ltd., led by renowned Canadian driver Ron Fellows, announced that the iconic Canadian racing circuit had been acquired by a new investor group formed through a partnership between Peter Thompson, Chris Pfaff and Alek Krstajic. The management team and staff, led by Myles Brandt, will remain in place during the transition period.
Peter Thompson, a rally driver and investor, is a member of one of Canada’s wealthiest families and holds a 10% stake in The Woodbridge Company. Chris Pfaff, meanwhile, is President of Pfaff Automotive Partners, a major Canadian luxury vehicle dealership group that also owns Pfaff Motorsports, which is actively involved in the GTD class of the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.
