Jack Uppal Appointed New President Of GM Canada

General Motors of Canada has announced the appointment of Jack Uppal, who will soon become the company’s new President in the country. Mr. Uppal will succeed Kristian Aquilina, who will assume the role of Global Vice President of Cadillac at the beginning of 2026.

Currently serving as President of GM Africa and the Middle East, Jack Uppal will return to Canada to take up his new position on February 1. His career with GM Canada began in 2001, after which he held several administrative roles over the following decade. He later left the country to take on various international assignments with the automaker, including positions in China, India, the Middle East and Singapore.
