Amy Fleming will become the new President of Mazda Canada on October 1. She will be the second consecutive president of the Canadian branch of the Japanese automaker and the first woman to hold this position.

Ms. Fleming will replace David Klan, who is retiring after 33 years with the company. He began his career there in 1992. Klan is originally from Toronto, while Amy Fleming grew up in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. This marks the fifth promotion granted to her by David Klan. Amy Fleming was also recently named one of the 100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry by the prestigious publication Automotive News. It was her second time receiving this recognition.
